Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her leading roles in countless television series, however, she also has impressive roles on film. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily was first interested in acting when she saw her sibling Katie working on a film. Once she discovered her passion in acting, she began taking acting classes and went for auditions. Her first audition was for commercials, but she was not cast until receiving a callback for the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Fearful of Darkness? In the show, she appeared only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. The actress got her first big break at the age of 15, when she got a role as a regular on Glory Days, a WB series Glory Days. Emily's performance caught the eye from Dawson's creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily, who is also a ballerina and photographer was recognized by Teen magazine as one the best actresses younger than 20. Maxim placed her at number 51 on its Hot 100 of 2014.
