April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4 on the 4th of July, 1995. As a seventh-grade student she started taking piano and guitar lessons. It was this that ignited her love for music writing. The first song she wrote was called Different. She wrote it aged 12. At 14, April spent lots of time writing and honing her singing skills. Then she began to take trips to write with her father in NY and LA. The month of April also included other themes in the book, Take My Hand, for those of her peers who struggled in the face of peer pressure, disability or even suicide. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer with a growing audience. She collaborates with famous brand Ilia in partnership, in addition to being a specialist in lifestyle. Lockhart was born without a hand on her left side and it's part of who she's become, but it's hardly her whole story. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not reveal her disability, but does not just focus on the condition. The message is? The message is and that we are all unique and that we're much greater than the physical person we are. Lockhart with a short video message from Nashville's home says that I do not intend to allow this to determine me. I am more than my physical self. My everyday life isn't dependent on it. I go about my regular daily life, and come up with the solutions I have for my problems. But it's also a part of me and I feel it's essential to discuss. Lockhart is a great example to self-acceptance and is currently on a lengthy process to attain it. The actress admits she has gone through a series of phases with regards to her body. She was unsure about certain clothes that showed off her arms. The fashionista wears what she loves and proudly posts pictures of herself in the outfits she picks out on social media. Self-love, she says is a process. I'm not certain if it will ever be over. It's a trip, but I don't think you ever get there. The idea of having people that understand you and can see your emotions is important since they'll be those whom you can count on to remind you about what you worrying about?
