My baby crawled around in the playpen as I worked 12-hour days, sanding the floor as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! It wasn't until a couple of months when the phones began to be ringing. I began receiving messages from individuals asking to help with their home improvement and interior design. These people had mostly been to my home during open houses for furniture. As I went along I added new clients to my list in a series of. It wasn't too that long before I was managing multiple clients and ran a profitable home improvement business. If you'd said to me that this company that I started would become the basis of a television show that airs on the DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. As I look back on this situation, I find myself laughing.
