Patricia Ann Garner, the mother of Patricia Ann, taught at an area college. In order to follow in the footsteps of her father, she earned an engineering degree in chemical science. In order to achieve her dream of becoming an actress, she moved in New York. In her Broadway role was accompanied by a stint at a local restaurant. Her cameo was in the series "Felicity."
